Salvation

The most important decision you will ever make is the one involving Jesus. Accepting Him or denying Him will determine your eternity. There are several things you should consider before you make this decision.


God desires a personal relationship with you
The thief does not come except to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Sin keeps us from a personal relationship with God
For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23


You must trust Jesus to be your Lord and Savior
That if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9


If you trust Christ personally, your eternity is secure
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11-12


If you have a sincere desire to ask Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior, talk to God from your heart and ask Him to save you. Here is a suggested prayer.

Dear God, I know that Jesus is Your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank You Lord for saving me. In Jesus' name. Amen
